Erasmus Policy statement
The need for young vocational students to be professionally and culturally prepared to meet the challenges of European trans-national mobility successfully prompts our institution to provide the necessary means to implement Erasmus mobility actions by supporting placements in enterprises of member sates of the European community.
We understand that this will enable young vocational students to achieve work and social experiences, which will help them to be professionally and culturally qualified for their imminent labour integration.
Our main objective is the promotion of practical labour experiences within the framework of the European Union in order to improve the quality and increase the volume of cooperation between advanced vocational education institutions and enterprises.
Our institution focuses on student placement activities.
Agreements are signed with European partners on specific training programmes to be implemented in companies.
To collaborate in research and pedagogical and technological development, enhancing and promoting the participation of teachers and students in innovation and entrepreneurship projects.
To contribute to the improvement and qualification of technicians in order to recognize their professional skills within the formal education frame.
Disseminate and share our experience in distance learning technology platforms with other centres as Online FP reference Centre.
To improve and promote access to such facilities in order to support research and innovation in life sciences and biotechnology.
To orientate the students professionally improving the labour insertion rates, promoting the dialogue and cooperation with companies in order to adequate the student training to the actual labour market.
To collaborate in the research and in the pedagogical and technological development, enhancing and promoting the participation of teachers and students in innovation and entrepreneurship projects.
To facilitate the mobility of teachers and students with the aim of strengthening the knowledge and transforming the infrastructure through the technological core facilities (TCF).
Through these strategies the objective of the Centre is to achieve the excellence in the frame of Vocational Training.
